Even though we handle your case on a "no cure, no pay" basis, there are still costs associated with managing your claim. These costs will naturally increase if we need to take your case to court to ensure the airline pays your compensation. As a result, our fees are higher for cases that go to court.
Transparency is important to us, which is why we’ve created the table below to show exactly how much compensation you will receive if we successfully recover your flight compensation.
The amount is per passenger:
Your journey was | Lawyer Assigned |
No Lawyer Involvement |
---|---|---|
under 1,500 km. and delayed more than 3 hours | 120 € | 175 € |
1,500-3,500 km. and delayed more than 3 hours* | 180 € | 285 € |
over 3,500 km. and delayed between 3-4 hours | 140 € | 215 € |
over 3,500 km. and delayed more than 4 hours | 280 € | 435 € |
*This rate also applies to flights within the EU of over 1,500 km. It is therefore the highest rate for EU to EU travel.
The amount will be paid to your account as soon as the airline has paid the compensation to travelrefund.com.
TravelRefund assists and guides you in both situations. Your claim for a refund and expense coverage is also handled under our "no cure, no pay" policy. In cases resolved without court proceedings, we take 20% of your claim. If the case goes to court, we will refer it to one of our partners, and in this situation, we take 50% of your claim due to the additional costs incurred by our partner.
